In the serious business of saving lives at sea, the brave volunteer crews of Britain's RNLI service need access to the most capable craft to safely effect rescues in some of the most challenging conditions.In the Shannon Class Lifeboat, they have a cutting-edge vessel which is as capable as it is versatile, able to be launched and recovered from a beach using a mobile slipway and powered by waterjets, which provide it with both speed and incredible controllability.  Designed to operate in all weathers, this amazing vessel supports RNLI crews in continuing their proud lifesaving tradition which spans almost 200 years.

This kit comes in 1:72 scale with 54 pieces and has a skill level of 1; it also includes instruction sheets, a paint guide, acrylic paint, poly cement, a brush and a decal sheet;
