This American Saddlebred mare  is a beautiful light chestnut with a light blonde mane.

The American Saddlebred mare  carries her head and long tail very high, as is typical for this horse breed. In the past, American Saddlebreds were used as riding and driving horses by the American settlers. Today they are mainly used as show horses. Some not only master step, trot and gallop but also the slow gait and so-called rack gaits. Both are pleasantly soft, four-beat movements.

These horses used to be called Kentucky Saddler, because their breeding began in the state of Kentucky.
