All of us, have been fortunate enough to have been alive during the reign of our dear departed Queen Elizabeth II. What a remarkable and selfless monarch she has been. Since becoming our Queen at the young age of 25, due to the premature passing of her father King George VI, she has devoted over 70 years of her life to serving her people.

In our commemorative puzzle, Gibsons have tried to capture some of the joyous moments of her life, from her childhood, as a bright-eyed carefree young woman, through her military service in the Second World War, to her coronation ceremony, and beyond through the many years of her reign. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother as well as for her dedication and resilience, and passion for her horses, her corgis and of course we, her cherished subjects.

Gibsons have made some positive changes to their processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but they’ve used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap, reducing our plastic waste. They use vegetable-based inks too. The gloss coating on the box gives extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils.

Because the box is slightly smaller than  previous designs,  less room is needed to transport our products which reduces  carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. There is also an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.
